Grosjean Freres Vallee d'Aoste Pinot Noir 2024
Alpine Pinot Noir from Italy's smallest wine region. Grosjean Frères has farmed organically in the Aosta Valley since 1975 (certified 2011). The valleyâtucked between France and Switzerlandâproduces only about 330,000 cases annually, with just 36,000 under DOC. High-altitude vineyards on steep, south-facing slopes produce a mountain-inflected style of Pinot Noir: bright fruit, floral aromatics, and mineral freshness that reflects the Alpine terroir. Ruby deepening to garnet, with cherry, flowers, sweet spice, and pepper.
