Perched on Simonsberg Mountain's windswept slopes, Delaire Graff crafted this Bordeaux blend as a meditation on power and restraint. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Malbec underwent 70% whole-berry fermentation before aging for 18 months in 40% new French oak. Expect layers of black plum and dark cherry, with mineral notes of pencil lead and graphite cutting through dusty, fine-grained tannins. This wine rewards patience, with eight to ten years of aging potential ahead.
