Benoit Dehu Champagne Blanc de Noir Brut Nature La Rue des Noyers 2018
After a formative tenure at Champagne Bollinger, Benoît Déhu returned to his family's pre-Revolutionary estate with a singular vision: biodynamic viticulture in a single-vineyard, single-vintage framework. La Rue des Noyers—named for hazelnut trees that once bordered the parcel—is 100% Pinot Meunier from this 1.7-hectare biodynamic site, ploughed with horses. Aged 11 months in small oak barrels, this brut nature displays elegant restraint: pear, dried flowers, chamomile, and spice layered in perfect balance.
